Troubleshooting An E5 Error Code On A Fogatti Tankless Water Heater

Question:

Have the Fugatti 4100 iv had it for about 3 months and now all of a sudden I get an E5 code its not lighting I get home around 7pm... My wife says it was working fine alday it happens 2 to 4 times a week.. Please help

The E5 code on your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 41,800 Btu - White Item # LSB64FR means you're having a fan failure/no fan signal detected during start-up or water heater operation. You'll first want to ensure you're receiving 12v power to the unit. You may have something else kicking on and dropping the voltage to your unit causing this error to only pop up randomly. You may need to switch to 14 gauge wire to ensure you're not getting a voltage drop off before reaching the unit. I also recommend removing all power from the unit for at least 15 minutes to fully reset the unit.

If power isn't the issue you may have a bad control board and will have to reach out to the manufacturer, LaSalle Bristol, to get a replacement.
