If you use the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero bars # RRVA126B-2 with the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA and the Custom Fit Kit # DK453, you don't have to worry about it scratching your vehicle. The custom fit kit has a powder coated finish along with a rubber coating to prevent any damage from happening!
We have a lot of naked roofs here at etrailer and I do not see ware on the vehicle even after the rack being on for a couple of seasons.
