Expert Reply:

The # 13-118-03 you were looking at is designed for 9000lb 2" wide slipper springs with that have a 5/8" Inside diameter bushing like the 6-Leaf Slipper Spring for 9,000-lb Trailer Axles - 30" Long # DX83QR.

As long as the bushing has an I.D. of 5/8" the spring will bolt up perfectly to the # 13-118-03.

I have a 2008 Newmar fifth wheel dual axles with dual wheels in your opinion Would it benefit me to put new leaf springs underneath it? I’m thinking this fifth wheel weighs about 17,600 empty GVW of 20,000 pounds it has been sitting on those springs for 16 years I’m thinking the springs had to weaken over that length of time in your opinion would it benefit me to put new ones under it? Seems to be riding fairly rough, especially on bridge expansion joints.

@Richard Its very possible your springs are worn out due to age and weight. You're going to have to raise one axle off the ground and measure the spring center of eye to center of eye with no weight on it. From that I can help you find a replacement spring. Weight on the spring makes it longer, so if you don't take weight off you'll get an inaccurate measurement.
