What Would Cause Anti-Rattle Knob of Thule Apex to Spin Freely
Updated 06/02/2021 | Published 06/01/2021 >
Question:
Hi. The antisway know does not seem to adjust enough to the 2inch hitch and moves and rattles. We are waiting for the cylinder to be delivered and are hoping that keeps it from moving, but if not what do we do?

Expert Reply:
Sounds like the anti-rattle knob of your Thule Apex part # TH9026XT isn't locked and it is basically spinning freely. Once you get the lock core you ordered in and you lock the knob you'll be able to tighten it down.
