Question:
I have 2 100 amp 12vdc lithium batteries in a 30 amp camper. Which converter would you recommend as well as wire size? Thank you

Because lithium batteries have a full charge voltage of 14.4 to 14.6 volts and require a different charge profile than lead acid, the typical/traditional battery charger/converter system will not be able to fully charge a lithium battery. You will want something along the lines of the Progressive Dynamics # PD9160ALV which is compatible with lithium batteries and will work well for your 200ah lithium battery bank. The# PD9160ALV is very capable of meeting the needs of the batteries you have. This also has parallel and series wiring options so if you expand you do not have to replace but can add another. I suggest at least a 6 gage premium wire for making connections. That should be more than adequate unless or until you expand the battery bank to more than double current.
