Recommended Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2017 Nissan NV2500

Question:

I am looking for a front 2” receiver hitch for my van as well as a small motorcycle rack. I want to carry a Honda trail 125 with a wet weight of 259 lbs. I can’t seem to find one receiver hitch that is made to bolt onto my 2017 Nissan NV 2500. I have purchased a rear receiver from you all in the past for the same vehicle and that has worked great and bolted right to the frame. I believe the Nissan Titan and the NV 2500 have the same frame so was thinking maybe this receiver would also work? Enclosed picture of factory mounting holes. In frame. Any advice or a path forward would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have another option for you, but while the frame your 2017 Nissan NV 2500 uses is similar to the frame of the 2017 Nissan Titan, there were quite a few changes made to it to work with the van body. With that said the Curt # C31077 you were looking at is not confirmed to fit.

Since there is not a front mount trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your best bet is going to be to install a universal hitch like the Draw-Tite # 41990-07 that has 7" tall mounting brackets or the # 41990-16 which has 16" tall mounting brackets. Both options fit frames that are up to 44" wide so you will need make sure your frame is 44" or less wide.

Either option will need to be welded on by a qualified welder.
