Since brake controllers are not vehicle-specific, you can use any of our brake controllers with your 1999 Chevy Tahoe and camper. The Dexter Axle Predator Electric Brake Controller, part # 58-8, is a great choice. It is inertia-activated, meaning you have a lot of mounting options for inside your Tahoe, has an LED display showing voltage output, and works with 1 or 2 axles.
If you don't already have a 4-way connector on the back of your vehicle, you will need the custom-fit Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, part # C55319. To take the 4-way connector to a 7 and 4 way connector, you will also need the Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit - 10 Gauge, part # ETBC7.
