Is There a Gap when Attaching DeeZee NXc Running Boards to My 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Wondering if these boards will fit snug and close to the vehicle - a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I’m hoping to avoid having much of a gap between the board and vehicle. Thanks for the info!

I have a great alternative for you. From the installation photos of the DeeZee NXc Running Boards w Custom Installation Kit # DZ16202-16241 for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it looks like there is about a 1-1/2 inch gap between the running boards and the outermost part of the vehicle. I attached a picture that shows this below the answer.
If you are looking for an option that has less of a gap, I recommend the AeroTread Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit # AA2051009. The AeroTread boards have a similar steal trim as the NXc boards and comes with all the hardware needed for a drill-free installation. I also attached a picture of the AeroTread boards below.
