Question:

I will like to know the difference between this trailer hitch and the trailer hitch # e98906. Should I know any kind of specifications of the Chasis of my tiguan? or Are both of them useful for any Tiguan? Thanks

All of the hitches we carry for the 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan fit all US market vehicles. So as long as you have a US model Tiguan either the Curt Hitch # C13133 or the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e98906 would work well for you.

These hitches do have very similar designs and attachment points, but since they have the same towing capacities, they will both perform the same.

I would prefer the # e98906 because this hitch does not require the use of a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 when used with a non-supported load such as a bike rack and because of the lighter smaller design would make installation pretty easy. Also, this hitch has a 2-inch opening which makes it easier to purchase hitch accessories like bike racks since more accessories are made for 2-inch hitches.
