Jack Support Plate to Use with Bulldog A-Frame Trailer Jack

Question:

Hello. I am going to replace the 1000lbs jack on a 90s Skamper tent trailer I am renovating. The new jack is a Bulldog model 155022. The hole in the current top mounting plate and bottom support plate are too small for the new jack. What plates would I order to accommodate the new Jack? I will hire a local welder cut the old ones off and install the new ones.

The Bulldog Support Plate part # BDSPB50 would work great with the Bulldog Jack part # BD155022 you are planning on installing as does provide a large enough hole for the jack to fit through. To use this as a top plate will require some holes to be drilled in it.
