The 4-pole trailer wiring harness we offer for a 1995 Ford Van is part # 118344, however this particular wiring harness is designed to plug inline at the connection between the OEM tail light assembly and the manufacturers wiring harness. Unless your cutaway van chassis uses the OEM Ford van taillights, which is doubtful, this harness will not work for you.
Assuming that your cutaway uses a combined lighting system that carries the turn signals and brake light signal on a singe circuit for each side (turn signals and brake lamp use the same bulb) you can hardwire in a 4-pole without using a tail light converter. I would recommend using a hardwire kit like part # 18252. If your turn signals use a separate amber bulb, you have what is called a separate system and would need a tail light converter like part # 119178KIT.

Thank you Mike for your answer -I guess I should have stated my question differently. The Van Cutaway is an Ambulance. Yes it does have a seperate brake and Turn signal and I am wiring for a 7way to included a brake controller. I have the brake controller as I use it in several vehicles. The trailor has a combined braketurn signal light assembly PN R-S 20 5018, PM 421 5, Oval. Now that you know I am going to a 7way and the trailer light part number would I still need the kit 119175KIT?
