ordered rack for 2019 Ford F150 short bed 5ft 6 in , with BakFlip MX4 folding cover , was told that this would fit, just double checking before i go any further thanks

This ladder rack will work well in combination with the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Matte Finish # BAK48329 which is also confirmed to fit your vehicle. I do not see any issues with the items you ordered since the ladder rack attaches to the top of the bed rails and the bed cover attaches to the inside of the bed rails.
