Can I use the Reese base with a curt 16 k fifth wheel hitch

The Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 27,000 lbs # RP49FR you were looking at will work perfectly with the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16521 you mentioned since it uses industry standard rails.
The # RP49FR fits the OEM prep package of the 2016-2019 and 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 trucks. As long as your truck is one of these years and has the OEM prep package it will fit perfectly.
