Question:

I own a Specialized Turbo Comp Creo gravel bike. Its an E-Bike. The front fork specification is shown as 12x110mm thru axle. The exact wording from the Specialized web site with specs is as follows: FORK Future Shock 2.0 w/ Smooth Boot, Boost™ 12x110mm thru-axle, flat-mount discinch I want to order a Kuat Trio roof mounted bike carrier. But the only adapters I see are for 12x100mm. I want to make sure I get the right adapter for the Kuat Trio. Could you make sure I get the right equipment. Thank you, Richard Douglass

I may have a solution! I called Kuat, and they said that they did not have a thru-axel adaptor that would fit a 12x110mm.

Although, great alternative to the Kuat Trio for an electric bike is the Yakima HighRoad Roof Bike Rack # Y02114. It has the weight compatibility you need for an electric bike without attaching at the wheel axel. In addition to the rack itself, you will need a few things:

1. Yakima CoreBar Crossbars # Y00421
2. RidgeLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y00145
3. RidgeClip Fit Kit for Yakima RidgeLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06011

There are also optional security lock system # Y07204 that can boost security on the rack as well.
