Question:
This is for a 2021 Kia Telluride. I have already ordered the Curt Trailer hitch C13420. I was leaning towards Thule due to added space between carriers but now realizing I can purchase the Yakima 5 and take one off and space out the four, GREAT! Question: Will this rack Yakima RidgeBack 5 fit okay with the Curt trailer hitch on the Telluride. I ask since it mentions there is a need for 1.5 inches from center of your hitch pin hole to the face of your hitch.... Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The specs of the Yakima Ridgeback # Y02459 does require a minimum distance of 1-1/2 inches the center pinhole to the face of the hitch opening. I contacted Curt and they confirmed that your hitch has a distance of 2-1/2 inches from the center pinhole to the face of the hitch opening, so you are good to go!
Also, the distance from center of hitch pin hole to closest part of the Yakima Ridgeback # Y02459 is 9-1/2 inches, so it will give you plenty of clearance to extend beyond that back bumper.
