Hi, I am looking to upgrade the cradles on an old Thule 4 Bike Hitching Post 984 Bike rack. Is there anything you can recommend? Thanks very much

We have a possible solution for replacement cradles, though the Hitch Post 984 has not been available for two decades now so information on it is scarce. That said, I believe it had 1 inch diameter arms, and while you'll need to confirm that, if it does, what you can do in regards to cradles is add the Replacement Stay-Put Cradle # 853-7887.
If your cradles or other parts of the rack are in really bad condition you can also always consider upgrading to the latest version of the Hitch Post, the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR.
