I apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with your hitch. The bolts that are supposed to come with the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 75128, are 12mm x 1.75mm. It sounds like you received the correct bolts. Even if your vehicle has been on the road for only a year, it is very likely there is some dirt grime in the weld nuts on your Liberty. You may want to try cleaning out the weld nuts. I would first recommend soaking the bolt holes on your frame with WD-40. Then take a wire brush, like a the round end of a battery terminal cleaner, and scrub out the holes to free the opening of road debris and grime. This should allow the bolts to fit. If you still have problems with the hitch, please let me know and I will continue to work on this for you.
