Since you have eight electric brakes, I recommend a heavier-duty breakaway kit that is compatible with quad-axles. You will need one with enough amperage to be able to apply the trailer brakes on full for at least 15 minutes
A great option is the Tekonsha Shur-Set III Trailer Breakaway Kit with Built-In Battery Charger # 2028. This one is top-loading, but you can get the side-loading version # 20005 if you want. This is compatible with trailers that have 1-4 axles.
