will the Westin Fey Diamondstep Rear Bumper - Black Powder Coated Steel Item # 63000, fit a 1986 Jeep Comanche? why only 87 and up, what is different about the 86 that would make it not work? Thanks for your help.

The Westin Fey Diamondstep Rear Bumper part # 63000 should fit a 1986 Jeep Comanche using the Custom Installation Kit for Westin Diamondstep Bumpers part # 97900. I checked with Westin and they only show the custom brackets for a 1987+ but I was not able to find any difference between the 1986 and 1987 model year.
