Question:

have a 2017 Nissan Titan XD with 6 and half foot bed. has built in 3 puck system. what 5th wheel do you recommend. looked at the c16540-16026, will this work?

The Curt A20 # C16540-16026 is designed to fit in the gooseneck system that comes on the 2017 Nissan Titan XD, but because you have a short bed truck you may need a sliding hitch if you don't have a pin box with a rotating turret.

Instead, I recommend using the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw # DM8550035 with the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Nissan Titan XD OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6200. The Hijacker Autoslide is a great choice because it's a sliding hitch that you don't have to get out of the truck each time you want to make a tight turn; it'll also give you the peace of mind that you won't need to worry about getting your back window blown out by the trailer accidentally.
