We saw a 2018 Forest River for Nitro toy hauler with an automatic Thule awning on the rear of the trailer. Can you tell me which one it is? We have a 2020 Boost XLR we want to put one on.

We do have a few options that you could consider in terms of a powered awning for your 2020 Forest River Boost XLR. In regard to the Thule awning, I really wish I could tell you which one you saw. Unfortunately we do not carry any powered Thule awnings at all, but I am more than happy to give you some excellent recommendations on the powered awnings we do carry. We offer awnings powered by an 18v rechargeable battery: Solera # LC729486 for black, and # LC730492 for white. We also offer awnings powered by the 12v battery on your RV: Solera # LC517486 for black, # LC405492 for white.
There are all 16' wide, which is a popular size. There are also more sizes available ranging from 11-21 feet wide.
The dimensions for these awnings are as follows:
Wall-mounted bracket: 69" tall
Outer arm: 63-1/2" long
Inner arm: 50" long
Pitch arm: 32-5/8" long
Roller tube: 16' wide
Canopy (when awning is fully extended): 15' 1" wide x 8' long
You will need awning rails # LC715217; this will secure the awning fabric to the roof of your RV/toy hauler. Per installation instructions, it is recommended to measure the width of the awning and add 12". The rails come in 8 foot sections; since the awning kits mentioned above are 16 feet wide, you will need a total of 17 feet of rail. These rails also require # FA1131822 self tapping screws and # 344270341411-1 tape to help seal everything.
