Determining an exact replacement for your Snow River's entry door latch is difficult as manufacturers do not keep track of smaller parts like this (which part numbers they use, or even the sources of the components), but there is a way for us to find one for you.
The Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit, part # 295-000002, that you referenced is more than likely the perfect solution for you. You simply need to take some measurements of your door's cutout to ensure you're getting the right part. This lock will install in cutouts that are 2-1/2" wide and 3-1/2" tall to as large as 3" wide and 4" tall. As long as your cutout falls within this range and the door itself is 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick, then this is the part you need.
As for determining the right or left hand version, there actually aren't any. I've attached the review video of this latch which shows it in the "right hand" position. However, when these latches are installed on the opposite side, the only thing needed is to flip this upside down. After looking at some review videos for Snow River campers online, the latches look almost exactly the same as the Global Link when flipped upside down.
If the dimensions above do not fit your measurements, let me know and I will help you find another.
