Hi, I need a bike rack for my Trek Verve 2 e-Bike which is a step through no cross bar and has fenders front and back so no hook can go over the wheels. Can you recommend a good option? I guess it would be a 2-bike unit unless theres a 1-bike one. No need for more. Thanks!

The best bike rack to accommodate your Trek Verge 2 E-bike is the Saris Freedom 2 # SA4412B. This has a weight capacity of 60lbs per bike and can fit up to 2-1/4" tires so it will be perfect for your E-bike. This secures the bike by the frame, so you will not have to worry about coming in contact with the fender/racks on your bike.
If you will be transporting a bike with tires wider than 2-1/4", then I recommend the Saris Fat Bike Kit # SA4419 which allows up to 5" wide tires.
To keep your bike and rack secure, the Saris Locking Hitch-Tite Lock # SA3022 and Saris 8' Long Stainless Steel Bike Cable Lock # SA981 would work great.
You will also need a 2" hitch receiver on your 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek if you do not already have one.
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98838 will be a great choice. This comes with a strong paint coating that will be sure to protect it from rust/corrosion.
