Question:
I purchased the stay and play duo system for my vehicle but am having an issue with the dash led. Is the cmax titanium have an active or non active brake light switch? There are a couple of videos out there and I tried the one connecting to the brake light switch and so far no luck? Thanks. The unit is working is working the brakes correctly just no led so far.

Expert Reply:
The stop light switch circuit on the 2017 Ford C-Max is not active while in tow mode so there will be no way to power the monitor light for a braking system like the Stay-In-Play Duo part # SM99251 without a stop light switch, the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751459.
