It looks like the diameter of the 2, 3, and 5 gallon tanks are 7 inches. What is the total height from the bottom of the mounting brackets to the top of the tank?

Expert Reply:
I reached out to Firestone, who was able to give me the heights of the various 7 inch diameter 2-gallon, 3-gallon, and 5-gallon air tanks, measured from the bottom of the mounting brackets to the top of the air tank.
They said that each of these 7 inch diameter tanks measured 8 inches tall:
- 2 Gallon: Firestone Air Tank (2) 1/4 NPT Ports # F9126
- 3 Gallon: Firestone Air Tank (3) 1/4 NPT Ports, (2) 1/8 NPT Ports # F9245
- 3 Gallon: Firestone Air Tank (2) 3/8 NPT Ports # F9229
- 5 Gallon: Firestone Air Tank (6) 3/8 NPT Ports, (3) 1/4 NPT Ports, (1) 1/8 NPT Port # F9242
- 5 Gallon: Firestone Air Tank (6) 1/2 NPT Ports, (1) 1/4 NPT Port # F9248
