Will Road Armor Equalizers Work on a 2019 Palomino Puma 5th Wheel with Stock Equalizers 6 Long

Question:
696740 road armor equalizer. Have a 2019 puma fifthwheel have stockequalizerwith brass bsgs and wet bolts. 2 1/4” shackle straps, h.d. Morryde.. stock equalizer 6” long,5” top to side, 4” top to bottom.can i use 696740? I dont know if this will work with what i have. Please advise thank you.

Yes. You can use the Road Armor # LC696740 to replace your stock equalizers since both are 6" from side to side, but there's a chance that you may need a slightly shorter shackle strap because of the top bolt to side bolt measurement difference between these and your stock equalizers. Because it's a small difference of only about 1/2", it may not be necessary, but you'll want to install it and see how everything sits. If you need to go to a shorter shackle strap, you can use the Shackle Strap - 2" Long # TRSL200 to help even everything out.
The Road Armor kit does come with brass bushings, so those won't be needed; but if you need new wet bolts, you can use the Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk for Double-Eye Springs - 3-5/16" Long
