The trim kit on the Greystone 26" Electric Fireplace # 324-000068 can be removed. Just lift up on the front of the trim kit and it should be free to pull away from the body of the fireplace. Be careful when removing the trim kit as it is made of glass. Then you can access the mounting brackets and use screws in the mounting holes for a more permanent installation.
