Question:
I want to wire my slide in camper so the alternator from my truck charges the house battery in the camper. I dont need tail lights and brakes, only battery charger. Do I just hook up the power and ground from the truck to the camper? Thanks

You could use the 12-V feed from the trailer connector to maintain the house battery on your slide in camper, but due to the ~16 ga wire feeding that circuit, you'll be able to maintain the battery but won't be able to fully charge it once it's depleted, unless you use shore power and a charger like # 329-GENIUS10.
In order to deliver a full charge, I'd recommend using a DC to DC charger like # 331-BCDC1225D for 25A or # 331-BCDC1240D for a 40A charger.
I've linked to product videos for the chargers I mentioned above.
