i have a 2014 ford fusion and looking for suggestions for both a hitch and rack. I need a rack that will support a 52 lb trek Verve 2 low step ebike and a 30 lb Trek 29inch mountain bike. thanks!

It is rated for 350 lbs tongue weight and is a custom fit for your 2014 Ford Fusion. Then for your bikes I recommend the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # SA4412B which is rated for bikes up to 60 lbs each. You may also want to consider using a bike adapter bar like # 64005 for your Trek Verve 2 Low Step E-Bike to create a top frame rail between the seat post and handlebars to give added stability in transport.
