Can I use this for a sprayer and can it be mounted to the back of a pickup truck?

The Rack'em Storage Rack for Open Air Trailers - Adjustable - 1 Backpack Sprayer or Blower # RA-39-BMH was designed to carry a sprayer like you are asking about. There may be a way to attach this to the rear of a truck but we don't have specific instructions on how to do that.
