Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 41933 is compatible with weight distribution but to determine if you need to use a weight distribution system you will want to go by the weight of the trailer. We recommend using a weight distribution system when the trailer weighs 50 percent or more of the vehicle weight or if the rear of the vehicle is sagging. I have included a link to our FAQ article on weight distribution for you to view.
If you determine that weight distribution is needed you will need to go by the loaded tongue weight of the trailer. You can calculate the loaded tongue weight by combining the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
If you can provide me with this information I will be happy to make a recommendation for you.
