Question:
Hi, Im reaching out because Im struggling with finding tonneau and bed rack options that are compatible with my 2006 Toyota Tundra Limited 74.4inch bed. My ideal set up would be a retractable tonneau cover with a bed rack, specifically the RetraxPRO XR w/ the Yakima Overhaul HD truck rack. However, from what Ive read, the RetraxPRO XR is not a fit for the 06 Tundra Ive asked Retrax why - width, length, etc, but have not heard back. Ive seen someone with a similar set up where they have the RetraxPRO MX with the stake pockets showing and the Thule TracRac. That set up is pretty good, but the Thule racks are not adjustable like the Yakimas are, and thats a pretty big sticking point for me. Also, the Thules dont come in black... Im wondering if you could suggest some retractable tonneau cover/ truck rack combinations based on what Ive mentioned. After typing this, I think Im even at the point of modifying a bracket in the stake pocket or elsewhere to make the RetraxPRO MX and Yakima system fit. I just dont want to modify and spend a lot of extra cash on something that is really meant to be a plug and play tool. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

There is a retrax tonneau cover that will work with your 2006 Toyota Tundra. It's the RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80822 and the RetraxONE MX # RT60822 but there is not a fit for the RetraxPRO XR. There is a powered version for both the RetraxPRO MX # RT90822 and the RetraxONE MX # RT70822.
I've included a couple videos you should check out to see how they work!
