Hitch, Solar Panel, and Roof Vent Solution for 1992 Dodge Roadtrek Camper Van

Question:

Hello, We have a 92D190V 92 Dodge 190 Roadtrek Versatile. Dodge is actually 91 RT is a 92 We are interested in installing a class 4 trailer hitch, a fantastic fan and cover, 2 solar panels and an electric tankless hot water heater. Can you please send me links for the parts that we would need that you have and any suggestions?

For a hitch on your 1992 Dodge Roadtrek camper van you need to use a multi-fit hitch, the Draw-Tite # 41990 which is a Class V hitch. To attach this hitch will require either the 7" Weld-On Bracket Kit # 4907 or 16" Weld-On Bracket Kit # 4916.

To determine which one bracket kit will work for you, measure from the top of the frame on your '87 Dodge to the bottom of the bumper. If you need less than 5-9/16" to clear the bumper then the 7" Bracket Kit # 4907 is what you can use. If you need less than 14-3/8" then you will need 16" Bracket Kit # 4916.

For a Fan-Tastic roof vent then the part # FV801250 with the cover # FVU1500BL would be a great option. We do not have any tankless water heaters at this time though.

We have dual panel kits like the part # 34282610 which would work great. This will provide up to 200 watts of power.
