I have a Westin grill guard. Was bought not long ago for a 2016 ram 1500. Took it off and want to put it on a ram 2500 2016. Will it work on the 2500 with different brackets. Thank you

Unfortunately, not only are the bracket kits vehicle specific, but the grille guards are as well which means that the Westin Grille Guard you have wouldn't be a fit for your Ram 2500, which has been confirmed by Westin.
The # 57-229PK is a bracket kit for the HDX Grille Guard for a Chevy. For an HDX Guard with Punch Plate for your 2016 Ram 2500, I'd recommend # 57-3550 for polished stainless or # 57-3555 for black powder coated steel.
