Question:
So Im looking into this trailer hitch for my 95 ford explorer. My current towing capacity is 3500lbs with a 350lbs tongue weight with my bumper. So my question is does the hitch increase my factory tow rating to 5000lbs?

There is nothing that can be added to your 1995 Ford Explorer that will increase its towing capacity, including the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75096.
The towing capacity is set by the vehicle manufacturer and that cannot be changed. Hitches are often made with higher capacities than the vehicles they fit, but this is just indicative of what it was tested to and not the capability of the vehicle. I have added a link to the instructions for you to check out as well of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75096.
If you do plan on towing with your 1995 Ford Explorer and do not have a trailer wiring harness you can add one with the Wiring Harness # C55345.
