Are Aries Aero Tread Running Boards Adjustable in How Close they are to Vehicle
Updated 07/23/2020 | Published 07/21/2020 >
Question:
Once installed should the Aries aero tread running boards ‘rubber lip’ sit snug against rocker panel? One side does and the other side is about a quarter of a inch too low in about a six inch section towards the back of the driver side. The guy I had install them worked as a body man. Is that just what can happen even if installed properly??

There's quite a bit of adjustment in the brackets that install the Aries Step Bars # AA2061032 to your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you check out the attached picture you can see the holes in the brackets are slotted where the steps attach to them. If you wanted them to sit closer to your vehicle you'd just need to loosen them and push them where you want and tighten them. It's hard to say why yours were installed the way they were but you can certainly make adjustments if you wanted them to fit differently.
