Is Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # BX3620 all I would need to flat tow my WRX? It is a manual transmission.

The Blue Ox # BX3620 is indeed the correct base plate kit for your 2018 Subaru WRX.

In addition to the base plates, you'll need a tow bar like the non-binding Blue Ox Ascent, part # BX4370. A non binding tow bar allows you to attach and unhook your vehicle easily even when on uneven terrain and when the vehicle isn't perfectly aligned behind the motorhome. Safety cables are included.

You'll also need a wiring solution like the Roadmaster Diode System, part # RM-15267 and a supplemental braking system like Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. You'll also need a # RM-9332 12 volt outlet kit to power the braking system.

If the installed height of your base plates is 3 inches +/- the height of the hitch on your motorhome, you'll also need a high/low adapter. I've linked to our selection and to a help article that will show how to determine which adapter you'd need.
