Question:
would you have a 2 bike hitch rack .. 1 1/4 inch receiver to fit a 2011 mazda miata mx5.. what do you use to fasten the downtube under the seat on a road bike .. i used a yakima super joe 2 trunk rack on an older 2005 mazda miata, but no one made a trunk rack for the 2011 because of no rear support in bumper so i put on a curt 1 1/4 in hitch...i was very satisfied with the yakima bike supports... i was looking at a yakima doubledown 2 179 dolllars when i ran across your product.

A great choice would be the Swagman Titan, part # S63400. The rack features sturdy rubber straps to secure the bikes to the rack, anti-sway cradles that prevent the bikes from swinging back and forth and striking each other or the rear of the vehicle and an integrated cable lock to deter theft. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch pin, but a locking model # S64029 is recommended. The Titan is suitable for transporting your bikes across the country or to that little park a few blocks away.
To carry womens bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # 64005 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
Also, keep in mind that the Curt hitch warranty requirements state that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 must be used for any non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier. I have linked you to a video showing how the strap is installed.
