Weathertech Mudflap video for 2016 Tacoma

Question:
I watched your install video of the Weathertech mudflaps on the 2016 Tacoma. I noticed in the video, there is an inner fender lining mounting hole on the mudflap that the installer ignored and did not utilize. Is that mounting hole not necessary then, only the two outside screws and the underneath screw are necessary to hold the flap? Thanks.

Thanks for pointing that out. You will want to do as the instructions indicate. It seems either we missed that step or they have changed the installation requirements but I lean to the first. The instructions are linked to check out if you want to.
