Bright Interior Lights for a 20 Foot Enclosed Snowmobile Trailer
Updated 09/12/2012 | Published 09/09/2012 >
Question:
I am redoing my snowmobile trailer electrics. It is an enclosed trailer and the current dome trailer light is really poor for lighting the interior. I am looking for a solution that will provide a very bright light if I need to install multiples I am fine with it but I want it to be bright. Bright enough that should I need to work on something inside my trailer at night that I can. I was looking at one of the LED tubes I believe it was 28 diode but the reviewer said it did not put out much light so it did not look like a solution. Do you have recommendations? The interior of the trailer is appx 20 feet long as it is a 4 place trailer.

For a 20 foot trailer, I would definitely go with multiple units of whatever light you choose. The LED light you referenced, # ILL24CB, would be a good choice if you are using more than one. A diode count of 24 combined with the white light and clear lens will be bright, but not 20-foot-trailer bright for a single light. I would do at least 4 spaced evenly apart, one for each snowmobile position in the trailer.
