Best Value Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2016 Toyota RAV4

Hello. Jameson responded to my question for an affordable 2-bike trunk mount rack that would work for me for low-use transport for my bike and occasional my young grandsons kids bike. He recommended the Malone Hanger MPG2139. However this does not ship until August 13 and of course I would prefer one now or much sooner. Also, it is a 3-bike and the Malone apparently does not come in a 2-bike. Since I will mostly use for just my bike, this seems overkill. So I looked again at what will fit my 2016 Rav4 that is available sooner and the Yakima halfback 2 bike is the next affordable at $199... though this is higher than I wanted to spend, I am at this dilemma of needed one now. My question refers to reviews on this that mention that the bottom hooks do not secure to the bottom trunk and therefore all weight is on the upper straps going across the spoiler. This was only one reviewer and I am wondering if they are accurate and if you can respond to this. I will appreciate your commenting on the Yakima halfback for my situation and soon, please so I dont lose the free shipping. I trust this site and your experts over others. Thank you.

For a great priced trunk bike rack that fits your 2016 Toyota RAV4 the Malone Hanger part # MPG2139 is the way to go as it's the best value and fits great as well. The Thule racks aren't listed as a fit so I would not recommend trying one but this rack will fit and work really well.
