I need to find the correct tow bar for a 2004 gmc envoy. I also need to know what else I need in order to safely flat tow the envoy.Thanks

Choosing the correct tow bar will vary a little depending on what brand base plate is installed on your 2004 GMC Envoy. If you don't already have a base plate kit then I recommend going with the Demco Classic # DM9518119 which will pair very nicely with the Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012.
To complete your towing setup you also need wiring and a supplemental braking system. For wiring I personally like the Combo Kit # DM9523057 because it also comes with locks and a storage cover for the tow bar, but if you're looking for something cost-effective then I recommend the Tow Ready # TR118821 instead.
When it comes to a supplemental braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR because it is easy to setup and use, plus it can easily be transferred to future vehicles when the need arises.
