Best Way to Carry Generator When Towing Camper

Question:
Hi- were new owners of a Jayco Jayflight 28BHS and want to carry a generator for dry camping. What is the safest way to carry the generator? Im already at 800lbs hitch weight so Im reluctant to put more weight onto the tongue or in the truck RAM 1500, but not sure how to mount a generator and a safe fuel tank elsewhere in the trailer. Is there a way to safely carry it inside the trailer over the axles? Thanks!

The Stromberg Bunk Adapter part # CC-255 is a great solution for what you are looking for. This attaches to the frame members of your camper and gives you a platform up above the propane tanks to carry a generator.
