Question:

Im looking at your website for the following RV trim: Camco RV Vinyl Trim - black - 25 Long x 1 Wide Item # CAM25113 In the description it says: Note: Not for windows, entry doors, compartment doors, or vents. I want to use this trim around the trailers entry door, why wont this product work?? Is there another trim that does work?? Thanks

The reason Camco doesn't recommend using their vinyl trim like # CAM25113 for around openings is because it can expand/contract according to the ambient temperature which can cause leaks if it hasn't been cut long enough. They don't offer anything that's specific for use around windows or openings, but the folks at JR Products tell us that their # 37211245 Premium 3/4 inch RV Vinyl Trim Insert is perfectly acceptable for use around openings like your entry door.
