Comparing Malone Axis and MaxxTow MaxxHaul Truck Bed and Roof Load Extenders
Updated 05/12/2020 | Published 05/08/2020 >
Question:
I am looking at the Maxxtow MT70231 and the Malone MPG907. They seem similar in features - besides the load rating. Primarily this will be for hauling kayaks on my Chevy 1500 and Ford Escape. It will occasionally be used to haul long lumber in the 1500 as well. I would appreciate your thoughts on the 2. Are either made in the USA? If not, are any of your bed/roof extenders? Thank you.

The Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches part # MPG907 and MaxxTow MaxxHaul Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender part # MT70231 are both great options for hauling kayaks, lumber, etc. They are virtually identical besides the Malone option being rated slightly higher. I recommend the MaxxTow since this is more cost effective.
That said, these options are both made overseas.
