Question:

Do previous answers on older model Enclave applly to the 2012 model? Is wire length and bulb brightness an issue for the Enclave?

The bulb and socket kit, # RM-155, does fit the 2012 Buick Enclave. Wire length could be an issue on any vehicle. It all depends on how the wires are routed under the vehicle. Normally, unless it is a truck, the wire length is more than enough. Bulb brightness can be affected by several factors including getting the proper voltage back from the RV. The bulbs that are used are automotive bulbs (incandescents) which are not as bright compared to LEDs.

What I recommend is to use the custom fit wiring harness, # HM56106. This harness just plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring. The 4-Way end gets routed under the vehicle and connects to the RV. This is the easiest solution short of using a magnetic kit like # RM-2120.
