7-Way/4-Way That Fits Trailer Wiring Cut Out of 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

I pull a 5th wheel camper. My new 2020 Silverado did not come with a 7 way receptacle mounted in the bed for my 5th wheel. Only a dummy plug. When I take out the dummy plug it looks very similar to the size and shape of this item. Will this item simply snap into that hole in my bed? There is also 7 wires tied up underneath the truck to wire in the 7 pin connector. Does this come with the end I will need to wire up to plug into this or is that a separate item?

The Hopkins 7-way/4-way kit part # HM40975 is the correct fit for your 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. This will fit into the trailer wiring opening your truck has currently and plugs right into the harness you found behind the bumper as well. I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2018 Silverado which would be the same process as your truck.
