Can I Use a Bolt On Trailer Jack to Replace a Weld On Jack?

Question:
I have Triton 17 ft fiber glass boat with a weld on Trailer jack and was wondering if a bolt on would work. I would need to put it over place with the weld is now.

If you wanted to use the Fulton # FXPD15L jack in place of your old welded on unit, you would first need to cut the old weld on bracket off of your trailer. Once you've done that, you can switch to a bolt on style trailer jack. You won't be able to just mount it into the existing place though without removing the old bracket.
If that's not an option for you, let me know and send in a photo of the mounting bracket; I'm happy to see if we've got a weld-on jack that would be a suitable replacement.
