Upgrading from a Dometic 300 to Dometic 310 Item # DOM47FR toilet

Updated 04/16/2020 | Published 04/15/2020

Question:

Full time RVr with a problematic leaking toilet and would like to upgrade to a ceramic, more reliable model. Concerned with measurement verification for the newer toilet before I order and/or suggestions. What I measured to where I believe is center of hole is 9 inchs or 9 1/2 inches to bolts. I have 2 inch space from rear of toilet to wall. A troublesome option I have is to open up the wall in the area needed to make it fit. Most importantly, I do not want to replace with anther Dometic 300 as well as a plastic toilet. Thank you for your time.

Expert Reply:

The Dometic Part-Timer RV Toilet w/ Hand Sprayer # DOM47FR has a center of hole to back of the toilet measurement of 11 inches so based on your measurements it would fit snug to the wall at the top. I've attached the diagram of measurements to assist further.
