Can be Wired So that It's Active All the Time

Question:

Can this camera run continuously or is it not an option? I assume if I hook it to a constant hot, instead of my reverse lights it could be. But would it be bad for it? I have. 2020 Audi Q5 and I want a rear view mirror like Cadillac has that is full screen that can be a constant broadcast. I like Audi vehicles better but I like that option on my parents Cadillac. Also I dont much want to have to drill into my vehicle, so is there a camera mount that allows to be hooked up to give me the optimal angle and view? Any help would be great.

You can have the camera on the Rear View Safety Camera kit part # RVS-776718-DCT wired so that it's on all the time. You'd just need to use a keyed power source as the trigger wire instead of the reverse light circuit. The camera and monitor would have no problem running for that length time.
